Mama dog is a Beagle/Bassett Hound (above)
Pups are numerous and seemingly one big blob of black and white. (below)
3 weeks old as of May 21, 2010

Mama is a medium sized, gentle-dispositioned dog...who was abandoned, taken in by an individual who allowed her to cohabitate
with an intact male...guess what happened. She lost her "rescue" home when (surprise!) she became pregnant.

Puppies, puppies, puppies...in a community offered not only low cost spay/neuter but free spay/neuter for pets belonging
to low income owners...what is it going to take? Better education and a curriculum that instills at an early age a
sense of civic responsibility.
